Saturday, August 28 - Sunrise to Sunset

Bring friends! Spend the morning painting -wander the trails, paint, photograph and enjoy the peaceful 39 acre setting.

12-2 pm lunch break, optional art sharing and critique of the morning's work. Lunch will be available for a $5 donation to High Ridge Endowment Fund, or bring your own.

In the afternoon, enjoy painting until sunset

Evening of Wine & Cheese, art conversation and camaraderie. Bring your own beverage and a snack to share.

Plein Air Oil Painting Workshop

Join Mary Erickson and a limited class of no more than eight students for a four day excursion into Plein air painting. The workshop includes demonstrations, individual critiques, and lots of one on one attention. You will be guided in seeing and capturing the essence of a landscape with the use of value, scale, and color. With practical information on materials, and tips for optimizing the outdoor painting experience, it is designed to help you experiment and grow as a landscape painter.
